  Repeat steps 3 to 9

  Once you’ve completed steps 1 to 9, if your mind map topic is worthy of extra attention, it would not hurt to repeat steps 3 to 9 to enhance your mind map content, appearance and layout. However, you need really only focus on three things:

  1. resort your mind map to improve its functionality and relational accuracy;
  2. further reduce the length of your text on each branch; and
  3. stylise you mind map to increase it’s visual appeal, which in turn assists with understanding and one’s ability to remember the content beyond the mind map.

  There are some great computer programs available today that will assist you to make your mind map an incredibly effective communication and learning tool. I will be looking at some of those programs in coming weeks.

  I will also begin adding more mind maps to this blog in the coming weeks and months to show you examples of how the SimCAMM Rules are applied.

   You have a lot of original ideas re the way mindmaps can be handled – well done.

   You’re right, this is a small “wedge of interest” in the legal world but I simply enjoy sharing the information. I get a kick out of seeing people access and use the information on this blog … and I have a lot more to share. Where it goes from there doesn’t really matter.
